No Title.

I hate x-mas. Yes, I do.
Not because of all the x-mas stuff, you know, like the tree, the neverending music, whatsoever.
I hate it because of endless arguments about things you would't really care about in real life. Just now I've had such a row. With my parents. The topic: More than stupid. (better don't ask)

If only I had the money to fly away. Far away. Far away like to another continent. The moon would be best.

I hate christmas, I hate it so much. Fuck it.

The entertainer

I think it's always a pleasure if you have someone who entertains you when you have to wait. This time, I had to wait hours and hours apparently (ok, to be honest, it took 15 minutes, but that's not the matter now).
As I waited in the car, another white van parked next to me. The parents went off for shopping and left the baby in the car. (irresponsible in my opinion)
The baby was given a carrot and it constantly tried to bite off a piece, but never managed it. I think it will be a good entertainer some day...

Shit! I fried my fish!!

Shame on me! There's an aquarium in my room with four fish, two of them swim around all the time, the rest lives on the ground (they look like cute little snakes but aren't dangerous in any way).
Ok I have to admit that I don't really care about my fish. Yesterday I started cleaning the aquarium and I really wondered why the water was so hot. So I took a look at the thermostat and recognized that it is still heating altough it should've stopped at 25 centigrades. Unfortunately it didn't.

Then, the shock: Two fish were "deep-fried". Literally. Maybe one reason is the hot temperatures outside, this week we had about 35 centigrades outside... Well, two fish are still alive and I took out the thermostat now.

R.I.P.

Damn is that crazy!

Just found another good thing.... You know the Mastercard ads? Well, here's another one... but one you'll never see on TV ;-)

Have fun! Andy

Soccer: The new terrorist

I hoped it so much, but my hope was destroyed like a bubble within a second: Germany won. In fact. Being a German, you might think that this is a very crazy statement of mine, but you thought wrong. Soccer truly terrorizes me every day, there's no end in sight! Fortunately I planned my trip to Berlin one week before the worldcup starts and even then Soccer was just everywhere. In shops, on the street and of course at famous places like the place in front of the Reichstag (that building with the dome on top), then, just a few steps behind at the Pariser Platz, thats the Place behind the Brandenburger gate, then also at the Sony-Centre which is located at the Potzdamer Platz and so on, the list never ends.
I think there was more to see related to soccer than the sightseeings themselves.

Oh God, bring it to an end!

London, I'm coming!

I'm a London-addict. Literally.
Since almost a year I'm trying to get to London in school holidays, over the weekend or somewhen else. Now I have the chance to get there because my aunt wants to visit London for a crazy shopping trip and she asked me to come with her. (No, I'll not shop there 24 hours, I want to visit the town!)
Of course, at exactly this point in time my oral exams take place. Yeah, that sucks.

Now we're going to find another date for the flight (btw: one flight costs only 24 Euros, that's about 30 Dollars, from Germany to London). I really, really hope that there's another cheap flight later next month. Luckily I'll go to Berlin next weekend for four days, which will be really cool. Berlin is a great city, not just because its historical background but also because of the culture and nightlife there. I say: If you're tired of Berlin, you're tired of life!

Next time with some cool Berlin pictures, Andy

Heeelloooo, anybody out there?

Oh God, life has become so boring after the exams. I think I got used to all the stress and now: Boredom. Everywhere.

This week my days got more and more senselessly (senselessly? sounds wrong. I'm still fighting with the language...). Today I arrived about 20 minutes too late at school. I was running down the floors with the heavy backpack and my camera (I intended to shoot some pictures in B/W) and as I arrived at the classroom I saw the door standing open. Wondering why, I tapped in slowly. What did I see? Eh?
Two classmates, sitting there and waiting for the teacher. Unbelievable.

"Hey, where are the others? Where's the teacher?"
"Well, we're the only ones here"
"Seriously?"
"Yeah."

Obviously even the teacher didn't feel like doing his lesson. Now I don't wonder anymore why the German School System ended up as one of the worst systems in the PISA-Test. (Pisa is an europe-wide test of all school systems across EU-countries, you may have heard of it).
Ok, I'll give it a second chance tomorrow, so I will attend the so-called "lessons".
It's the last day before school holidays anyway.

That's it for today, I'm gonna try to get my shitty web page working now, but there's little hope...

Pollen and the chaos

I'm back, baby!

Sorry for letting you wait for such a long time but I was really busy in the last few days.
Ok, so here I'm sitting with my pint. With nothing to write about.
Oh, except one thing: Something has been pissing me off since a few days.
Pollen.
They're just everywhere! A few minutes ago I was printing out a photo. So I laid it down to get the ink drought. Within seconds there were pollen on the sheet! And I wasn't outside, it happened in my room.

Usually it's quite clean and tidy in my room, except these days. I'm preparing my portfolio to apply to university, but before, I need to apply for an internship. I think six advertising agencies are enough to send my application to. Unfortunately it turned out to be a total of about 70 pictures which have to be printed. My room is just a mess. Thousands of sheets of paper lieing around everywhere. You really need to be careful if you walk into the room.
I can see the moment come when my mother opens up the window an a big blast makes the chaos perfect.

So long, need to watch TV now.
Bye Bye, Andy

Yeeeeeeeeeeeha It's over!

*sigh*

It's over! After some hard weeks of learning more stuff than I will ever need in my life, I'm done with all examinations. One more time: *sigh*

Something crazy: After every examination I recorded a video of how difficult the exam. was. Well, most videocasts are more depressive than happy-tempered :D

The Newest News from our private Weather Channel:
Most time very "aprilish".

Oh, one more thing: (No, it's not a new apple computer since I'm not Steve Jobs)
I bought a CD of KT Tunstall, sounds quite good. I'd recommend it, give it a try!
Where to buy: At your local iTunes Music Store...

It's raining (men?)

Hey, anybody out there?

To continue posting about my exam period, here's an update:
The latest examination (engineering) was unexpectedly good despite I HATE this subject. I really don't know what pushed me into choosing that fu**in subject! I'm just glad that it's over.
Now there's only one last examination: Maths. (Oh my goood)

The weather: Yesterday: Beautiful sunshine, no clouds at all.
Today: Rain, Rain, Rain. That's April.

Erm, well, the second examination didn't run very well. Unfortunately I wasted too much time at the beginning so I could hardly manage to get done the whole shit.

But the day got even worse: On my way home I got into a speed control... which means that I will be soon a poor man :(

But hey, life continues.
Something I've found on the web: mini video about the new freedom tower in NY
(scroll down, link is in last but second line)

And one video of the new Transportation Hub besides the Freedom tower
(click on the image "WTC Transportation Hub")

Especially the Transportation Hub looks really cool, like in a futuristic film!

See you soon, Andy

*sigh*

Ok, part one of my examination's done....three left!
As you may know, this part was the German subject. Tomorrow's subject will be English and I think this is going to be more difficult...
But now I'll relax the next few hours, I'm so fed up with learning!

Cya soon, Andy

I will pass, won't I ??

Ok, ladies and gents:

It's gonna be serious.

Estimated time left: 10 hours
For those of you who are just wondering what this dude is talkin' about: Final examination period starts tomorrow, beginning with the subject German.

My favourite slogan today: I will pass, I will pass, I will pass, I will pass....

So long, Andy

Saturday, April 01, 2006

Yeah, that's me!

Ok, so, here we go:

This is me. (see picture below...)

Actually, I attend vocational school in the last year. Unfortunately next monday the final examinations take place and I don't know if I'm going to pass.
But that's just one part of my life.

I'm really interested in Graphics Design and digital photography so I take any chance I can get to take a photo or to design things. I hope I'm going to get a university place to attend the Graphics Design study course.

Not only am I addicted to coffee, such as Café Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, blah blah blah but also to apple. No, I don't mean fruit but the computer company. I'm using a brand new iBook G4 and an iPod mini. And dude, I'm lovin' it!

I hope this blog will be kept alive by a lot of comments,

so far, Andy
